How the listings were built
Most sites in this category start with whoever pays to be there, which produces a list of the companies with the biggest marketing budget rather than the ones running the best trips. We started from the other end: public sources — operator websites, tourism board registers, business listings — compiled into a directory that was useful before anybody paid for anything.
That is where the 2,618 listings come from. Operators can claim theirs, correct it, add packages and answer enquiries. Paying moves them up in how enquiries are distributed. It does not let anybody buy a review, a rating, or a claim about their trips that is not true.
The part most directories leave out
Of 2,618 listings, 3 have been claimed by the business they describe. The rest were compiled from public information and nobody at that company has confirmed a word of it. Details can be out of date and some of those businesses will have stopped trading. Check before you pay anyone.
Verification is a separate and much narrower thing: 2 listing carries a verified badge, which means we confirmed the person claiming it controls the business domain or email. It has never meant we inspected a vehicle or met a guide, and it should not be read that way.
What we will not do
Publish a price nobody checked
Every cost figure carries the year it was checked. Park fees are stated separately from day rates, because that portion is set by a government and identical for every operator — so a quote below it is not a better deal, it is a different trip with something removed.
Let anyone buy the appearance of quality
A paid plan changes how many enquiries an operator receives and what they can publish. It cannot buy a rating, a review, a verified badge, or a discount claim measured against a price they invented.
Guess when we do not know
A festival with no announced dates says so instead of showing a plausible one. A destination with no published costs is named as missing from an estimate rather than quietly left out. An offer whose length nobody has confirmed does not get a number.
How this site makes money
Operators pay for subscriptions that improve their placement and unlock features such as packages and offers. Travel guide pages carry advertising. Travellers pay nothing, there are no booking fees, and no commission is taken on any trip — we are not in the transaction at all.
