Mietwagen und Transport in Arusha

Was man in Arusha unternehmen kann

Orte und Erlebnisse statt Unternehmen. Bei jedem steht das, was man sonst erst vor Ort erfährt.

• Maasai Market

  Kultur

The craft market in the centre of town.

Prices open at three to four times what things sell for. That is expected, not an insult — haggling is the transaction, and walking away is part of it.

• Walking safari in Arusha National Park

  Tierwelt

Giraffe, colobus and buffalo on foot, with Mount Meru above.

No lion or elephant, which is exactly why walking is allowed. The best first day of a trip: it is forty minutes from town and it acclimatises you to the altitude.

• Coffee estate tour

  Kultur

Picking, pulping, drying and roasting on the slopes south of town.

Harvest runs July to December; outside it you see the process explained rather than happening.
